Hello, and welcome to my site. I'm a fan, obviously, of
The X-Files. I loved it from the start, which for me was Conduit during season one. The show got to me on many levels, but primarily for Mulder and Scully and what came to be known among online fans as the MSR (Mulder/Scully Romance or Relationship). I can think of a few programs I'd watched before where the male and female leads had this dynamic, but they pale compared to the chemistry displayed between David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson in their portrayals of Fox Mulder and Dana Scully on The X-Files. The romantic and sexual tension, even though it was carried to an unfortunate extreme, was delectable. I do think, however, that it should have been brought to fruition sometime during season six, instead of the backpedaling that we saw in the story after the events of the movie. It would have been good if someone involved with the storytelling decisions on the show had had some foresight -- did no one know or care that David's contract would be up at the end of season seven? As wonderful as the episodes were during that season that gave us a glimpse of the developing relationship between Mulder and Scully (Millennium, all things, Je Souhaite, Requiem), it was difficult knowing that it was happening on a count down because of the strong possibility of there being no David in the season to follow.

My stories so far are vignettes of varying lengths and are primarily MSR and/or what has come to be called Family Fic. I wrote the first one after wanting more, or wanting even more than usual I should say, after watching How The Ghosts Stole Christmas when it first aired. I thought it would be a one- or two-time thing, but then kept on going. I pulled this site together in June 2003, and am delighted to have a home for my stories. I didn't think it would be such a big deal having my own place, but I was wrong. It's been loads of fun.

Christine Leigh is my pen name, and if you're a Haven member you may also know me as Vivien. I'll answer to either. I prefer to remain relatively anonymous in my online life; in real life I've always lived in northern California -- it's a wonderful place to be.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you find something here that you enjoy.
