I managed to be 90% spoiler-free before walking into this film and was extremely glad I stuck to my resolve to avoid spoilers. There were some flaws, but there were a lot more perfect moments. The adventure of discovering what David had done on screen as the story unfolded was wonderful. I intend to remain spoiler free for any future films David writes/directs and let him tell me the story he wants to tell as the film unfolds.

House of D was a good film; not great, but overall I am delighted I went to see it. I intend to buy the DVD without hesitation. Above all, it rated a B+ on my private scale of whether a film was worth cramming my knee into a bent position for over an hour.
