Where Memories Are Lost Forever by Agent_410 Email: box9missingno@hotmail.com Spoilers: Season 11 The people entered into the large room, not knowing how and and why they were there. One minute they were in a movie theater watching a movie and the next a bright light flashed and they were transported here. A place where time and space did not matter. A man in a white coat came out of a side room and looked at us curiously, any intent hidden deep within his fathomless eyes. Another few men entered the room as well, their eyes just as fathomless as the first man's. They all gathered around him and talked to one another silently. Then the first man who entered the room introduced himself as Dr. They. He then gestured to the man who was standing next to him who was wearing wire rim glasses to come forward and introduced him as Dr. Wer. Then he called to the man who was wearing a black fedora and asked him to step up. He introduced him as Dr. Watt. The man next to him was tall and weedy and rather nervous. Dr. They called him up and introduced him as Dr. Where. The last man stood their silently while smoking a cigarette. He seemed to be a mystery and an enigma all wrapped into one. He was called up by Dr. They and introduced as Dr. When. One person in the crowd spoke up. 'Why did you bring us here?!' he exclaimed. Dr. They walked around the room again and said this to him: 'You were all brought here to erase those memories that you'd rather forget. To get a second chance in life. Do not fear us, for we're not here to do any of you any harm.' The man stepped back, thinking about what the doctor just said. A woman stepped up and asked: 'Do we have any say in terms of what gets erased?' Dr. When stepped forward and told her: 'That is a good question. But sadly you do not. All that is bad shall be taken away.' The woman sighed and started to cry and the man next to her, her husband hugged her. Dr. Watt stepped up and told them to not be afraid, and that this procedure does not harm them. That it's something painless and that afterwards they'll be sent back from where they came. Dr. Wer stepped forward and nodded his head in agreement. 'All of you have nothing to fear. We do not mean any of you any harm.' A young boy stepped forward. 'What if I don't want to go through with this?', he asked all of them. Dr. Wer came over and knelt down to the boy so he could speak to him. 'I'm sorry son, but if this is to work completely... then everyone has to go through with it. I wish that there was another way. I really do.' The boy backed away from him and went over to his parents and started sobbing. Dr. They came forward and said to the crowd: 'It's time for the process to begin.' He gestured over to Dr. Watt to pull the switch on the wall. He went and did so and a bright light appeared again and people started to fall over on the fall, silently, as if they were entering a peaceful sleep. 'Let us wait a little while,' Dr. They said to his colleagues. 'The process shouldn't take too long.' 'Are you sure that they'll be ok?', Dr. Wer said to him. 'Yes I am... since I tested it on myself not too long ago. So what we told them in the absolute truth.', Dr. They told him with an expressionless look on his face. Time passed and then Dr. Watt went over to the other switch that was next to the one he pulled and pulled it. A pulsing blue light started up and people started to awaken. Dr. They told them that it was time for them to go and he gestured to Dr. Where to pull the large lever to get them all sent back from where they came. He did just that and a blinding white flash happened and everyone was sent back to the movie theater, with no memory of what happened. The young boy stood up first and pulled on his father's arm. 'What happened, papa?', he asked pleadingly. 'I don't know, son... all I do know is that we're safe and sound and that's all that matters. The End. I'd like to thank Darin Morgan for the character of Dr. They (borrowed it for this story, no copyright infringement intended; it's all meant in good fun) and @spookyfbi for the memory erasing idea, you inspired me to write this drabble.
